Description
The G428-0001 is a DIN rail thermocouple input signal regulator with 1800VDC isolation between input, output and power supply.
Field-configurable inputs and outputs provide flexible, wide-ranging capabilities for J, K, T, R, S, E and B thermocouples.
More than 60 thermocouple temperature ranges can be configured with the G428 input (see Table 6). The output is linear with temperature and can be set to 0-5V, 0-10V, 0-1mA, 0-20mA or 4-20mA. Wide range, zero precision and span POTS allow 50% adjustable offset and span down within each range. For example, the 0-1000°C range can be offset and turned down to provide a 4-20mA signal representing 500-1000°C. Again, adjustments can be made
Reference output range. The example above can be used to provide a 12-20mA signal for temperature inputs ranging from 750 to 1000°C
